Alarm Counts Toolbar

Count Alarms

  • Example: LFt[{P123}], LAt, HAt, HAm, HFt
  • Each of these functions returns the count of data values which have exceeded the specified alarm level within the configured time period.

Each alarm count calculation works in isolation from the other alarm count calculations, so a High Fault alarm will also give a count for a High Alarm and a High Alert. Conversely, a Low Fault alarm will also give a count for a Low Alert alarm.

For example, if you were to configure alarms as they appear in this screenshot for the point with ident 7052:

The following counts would be generated for each Alarm Count formula:

Point (7052) Value LFt[{7052}] LAt[{7052}] HAt[{7052}] HAm[{7052}] HFt[{7052}]
2 1 1 0 0 0
3 0 1 0 0 0
5 0 0 0 0 0
9 0 0 1 0 0
11 0 0 1 1 0
13 0 0 1 1 1
